Need advice on '86 restoration

Aloha ...

I recently picked up an '86 RAM250 van with a slant six. I'm in the process of cleaning up some minor rust issues, but there's one area that Ospho and Bondo just ain't gonna fix. Unfortunately, it's along the top of the sliding side door. The edge of the roof is rusted out, as is the rain gutter. The roller assembly and the rail it slides on will definitely have to be replaced, and I'm probably looking at having some new metal welded in so I'll have something to hang the rail on.

Anyone know if there is a range of years that used the same roller assembly and rail? It looks like the whole shebang could be replaced with not much more than a screwdriver and a 3/8" socket, but I suspect I'm going to have a tough time finding the replacement parts. Is there an aftermarket place I might be able to order them from, if I can't find them used and in decent shape?

All help gratefully accepted; I'm a total newbie at the restoration game and working by myself.

Mahalo in advance ...

Range of years? Something like 1972 to 1993 will interchange.

Yow, that's excellent news. Even over here in the islands I should be able to come up with something. Mahalo nui loa!
