850 part #dbaines 05-02-2005, 08:23 AM This is for a '97 850. On the top side of the motor there's a brace coming off the firewall and connecting to the motor. I believe it just damps some of the engine vibrations. I need to replace the rubber piece that's inside the end. Anyone know what this piece is called and/or a part number? thanks! nismo4banger 05-06-2005, 02:05 PM You're right, just stablizes the motor. The rubber volvo ones are crap. They break all the time. I bought this one from Ipd. http://ipdusa.com/ProductsCat.aspx?CategoryID=256&NodeID=443&RootID=629 I think volvo switched to a polyurethane one as well, instead of rubber. But it's purple in color and it's probably more expensive. peacexisxfree 03-31-2006, 04:40 AM I think volvo switched to a polyurethane one as well, instead of rubber.
