Silverstar vrs. Cyber Whitekita23 05-01-2005, 08:50 PM I currently have Silverstars which are rated at 45/55 watts. They are bright but I am looking for something brighter without burning my sockets up. I saw Xeon Quarts Cyber White By Navigator and they are rated at 55/65 watts. Will they burn my sockets? Will they be any brighter(closer to white) than the Silverstars?what temperature do they burn at?Anyone got a Comparison picture?Any help would be greatly apprecated. kita23 05-01-2005, 09:07 PM The Silverstars are also 55/65 watts, I'm still wondering if the Cyber Whites by Navigator will be closer the the white than the Silverstars and what is the Kelvin temperature they burn at. GTPgirl 05-01-2005, 10:31 PM I've got Silverstars in my GTP, and a friend of mine has the CyberWhites in his Accord. I can't see a noticeable difference in the brightness between the two, but maybe it's just me. Langning 05-02-2005, 01:58 PM I purchased my Xeon Quarts Cyber White By Navigator from Walmart for $18 because Walmart "locks" their Silverstars and no evening shift people could figure out how to get them out. So I am giving Cyber White a try. The lights are very bright when viewing by other drivers. But I can't say they improve my own visibility much. On my 05 Equinox SUV with stock 9007 bulbs, I see the road lot farther & clearer than my 01 Grandprix with Cyber White. The Cyber White is better when other drivers staring at me. I may try Silverstars next time I shop at Walmart. But for $18, I think Cyber White is worth the money. GTPgirl 05-02-2005, 03:28 PM Why on earth do they keep the Silverstars locked up? The walmart I bought mine at doesn't...they keep them right out with the other bulbs. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
