1988 Toyota Camry Power Windows qwerty4321 04-30-2005, 09:39 PM
Recently my powerwindows do not work. I do not know what the problem may be. I have read the forums on the power windows but I can't seem to find that resetable button located in the kick panel. Can anyone help me with this problem? hottmamita 05-01-2005, 09:31 AM I read about that button too but i couldnt find it. I even removed the kick panel but i cant see where it is. I looked all over down there. Is it behind all those wires? qwerty4321 05-02-2005, 05:14 PM can anyone help me with this? farmview 05-10-2005, 01:44 PM I just bought a 1988 Camry where the Drivers Side Power Window Switches do not work. The window lock and door locks do work. My son and I went to the junk yard and bought a new Master Control Switch. It was $45. We got home, plugged it in and same problem. If any one can shed light on this problem would be most appreciated. quincyguy 05-14-2005, 01:55 PM Remove the kick panel down by your brake pedal. There's a small, black-tipped hand screw holding it on. When that's off, you'll see two round units at the top of the fuse panel, that look like flashers. These are relays. Remove one and re-set it by poking a paper clip into the wee hole in the center. Then put it back in. Then do it again with the other one. One of them is for the elec. windows. Not sure which, so poke both of 'em. High probability this will do the trick If not, you have work to do..... Shalom Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
