Hey I need some help. My last car got totaled in an accident and I was stuck here at college and had no way home to Chicago when schoolis over. So after looking for a few months I bought a celica and have had nothing but positive things to say except for it not being a Hatchback. But, unfortunately I noticed it had rear drum brakes and I found that alittle weird cause i thought the GT had 4 wheel disks brakes. My bill of Sale says 1994 Toyota Celica GT, but the car isnt labeled gt/st, I am quesitoning the gender of my car and how will I be able to tell once and for all.,., *didnt come with owners manual

there should be 3 numbers that follow the letters ST. you should be able to find out from them what model it is.

I looked and there are no letters containing ST or GT, I even went as far as pulling out my titls and it doesnt even say there, 94 toyota Sports Coupe, thats what it reads... I dont want to bring it to a mechanic, but i think that might be the only way to tell, any other suggestions

look at the eninge bya does the motor say 1.8 liter or 2.2 liter if its 1.8 its ST if it s2.2 then its a gt

also whats the MPH on the speedo

look of the cam cover of the motor, there cshould be a printing saying either 7afe or 5sfe....
