Got a few questions for you guys..... got myself a '92 buick roadmaster estate wagon........ Love it to death.... leather interrior, pwoer everything...... 5.7 350........(not sure if its an lt1 or not)...... Noticed that a wagon like that... will roast the tires(posi burn!!!).... But what would casue a car to have "moods", if you will.... somedays, itll stand still at 40-sum mph, and other times its cock to the left a little bit... and sometimes she just wont... Now i dont beat this thing everyday... i actually baby her..... shes so nice.... and shes got 150,000miles on her....... Sometimes the car is very mooovvvable (like you just tap the gas shes gunning), and others she seems like she cold or something...... she also seems to want to stall around corners( were i have to pump the gas 3 times, like 1...2....3... FLOOR!, to keep her running)...... Now i have gone through the whole fuel line and everything..... Noticed the gauge is off by a 1/4 tank..... wonder if fuel isnt always making it to the engine...... And if so, would an aftermarket fule pump (if they make them), help her keep her wonderfull up-and-go?..... and does naybody make any aftermarket parts for the roadmasters, or should i do a custom job?
Thanks,
Bill

Sorry but you don't have an LT-1. They weren't available to us until the '94 model year. It sure sounds like it's starving for fuel but you say you went through he fuel system so I assume you replaced the in-line filter. It could be the sock on the fuel pump itself is clogged or you have a lot of crap floating around in the tank. If you do replace the pump a stock replacement will be just fine.
Did you replace or clean the injectors?
How about any codes? Is your "Check Engine" light on?

I had the EGR valve go bad on mine and it would run like crap, especially on the highway. It would "buck" a little bit around 50 mph +. I just unplugged the vacuum line to it and all is well. No codes either so you might try that. Keep me posted.

Yeah, the in line fuel filter got replaced...... But i did clean the tank, and its got a new fuel pump... the egr valve got replaced less than 40,000 miles ago... ill but a new one when i get paid on wensday. i tried unpluggint the vacuum lineon the egr valve.... It made it idle like it was a bag of crap... Still wont throw codes at all.... not even with one of the code grabbers.... Hm... this might eb the time to add something that the owner told me... he said it ran real lean..... Meh, anyhelp would be ncie, and thanks man,
Bill
