87 RX-7 won't start below 40degFablesign 04-29-2005, 09:58 AM Looking at an 87 RX-7 to buy for my son. The owner says it doesn't start when the temperature drops to 40 degrees or below, but does start and runs fine when temps are higher. Anyone have an answer as to what the problem might be? We are considering this for a project car, so we don't mind making some repairs. We just want to have a good idea of what is involved. Thanks for your help. D3rELiC 04-29-2005, 01:33 PM just plug it, and use lighter oil have the compression tested tubjub 05-01-2005, 05:31 PM just plug it (plug what) ? use lighter oil ? have compresion tested ? why don't you find a little more out about the situation ? geeze D3rELiC, i thought you knew your shit ... if you really knew a damn thing about a rotary you'd have a more creative answer than that. you criticize and humiliate me in a thread, i'll do it to you.
