RF Speed Sensor for ABS madeinalaska 04-29-2005, 12:19 AM
My Anti-Lock brake light is steady lit while driving, so I took it in to the garage and they told me is was the Right Front Speed Sensor. So I guess my question is.. How difficult is it to replace this piece? I am an aircraft mechanic, so I could imagine it'll be right up my alley, but I fucking hate dealing with electronics. Is it something as simple as unplugging something and installing a new sensor or what? I have procrastinating and I should probably fix this soon. Thanks tyrant33 04-30-2005, 09:56 AM It actually really easy. You just have to take apart your brake assembly. It's behind the rotor and it's held on with a torx screw.Just be sure when you replace it with the new one you clean the mounting surface that the sensor mounts on Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
