What option(s) do you wish you had?

I'll start this by adding I wish my Venture had a power rear hatch. There have been many times when I was alone and had my hands full while trying to open the rear hatch to put something in the van. It would be nice to have a button on the remote to push to automatically open the door, similar to the sliding passenger doors.

Autopilot. Being the designated driver is no fun.

Sorry, but I have to ask you this. If it is too hard to find a free hand to pull up a hip-level 4 inch wide door latch, how are you going to find a free hand (without putting your packages down) to press the correct little rear-hatch button?

Yet I think just about every minivan on the market has this option. Many times I've walked out of a grocery store with my keys in my hand holding a few packages. I can easily press the putton on the key fob but it would take some creative tugging to get a side door open. The same applies for the rear door, only worse. The rear door requires you to lift the latch to unlatch it, then pull out and up while moving backwards until the door reaches a point where the gas struts push it up all the way. A motorized door would definitely be handy in some situations.

My own personal "options" would have been to have a longer warranty, some way to get to the rear of the engine without removing half of said engine to get to it, video screens for the kids, cup holders in the center console instead of just in the door and on the side of the passenger seat right where you put all your stuff so you can't open it. Stow-and-go seating would also be handy for quick conversions of the van from hauling people to hauling stuff.

:iagree: I was going to say that when I know I would have packages in my arms and would have trouble opening the rear doors, I would get out my key fob in advance ,and have my finger near the button ready to push it when I got to the van. All it takes is a little pre-planning.

I would like memory seating for the front seats. We
both drive the vehicle, it would be nice to have our driving positions in memory
