put in new battery, now radio will not power up ,this is a 95 with factory steering controls & cd /graphic EQ. It worked fine before new battery, I read the owners manual-- there is no secure code present, clock works but no power, I have also removed the fuse a few times to no avail-- any suggestions? email (69DARTCV@COX.NET) --thanks
would entering a secure code allow me to power up now??

Strange.

there are 2 fuses involving the radio: one of them (RDO1/AUX) involves lighter, heater and I guess you would have seen that already. but RDO-2 however is just for radio control interface module .....In fact, you said you had cut the juice to the radio hoping for a "reset".....were the 2 fuses removed for that test?

I have a 95 TS 3.8 with a factory built in CD/radio with eq. When I bought the car the radio did not work. It would not turn up, only the clock did work. The pre-owner was talking about some fuse inside the radio. I can tell, there are no fuses inside the radio. The problem was the power-on push button. The push buttons are like keyboard push buttons, with to layers of thin plastic folio behind the push button. By searching you would have find my previous answer to this question:
