car wont get out of first gear. im asssuming it's shot. bought a used tranny for 3oo bucks. buddy of mine will put in for 150. can someone tell me if theres any differennce from a 93 or 94. whats the goin rate to put a used transmission in. thanks

It is probably just the clutch. Its happen on some of my cars, when the clutch goes completly out it gets stuck in one gear. Will it still drive in first gear?
