Okay, onmy 00 Venture, which i get back tmo from dealer with a totally rebuilt tranny lol. Will a throttle body off any other 3.8 fit the 3.4? or a throttle body velocity stack fit the 3.4 if its made for a 3.8? What other small bolt on hp +'ers can i get

For most parts, nearly anything that fits any of GM's 3.4 FWD cars fits the venture. Specific parts though, like the intake, probably don't. Though I haven't looked closely at the Airbox of a Grand Am or such. You can always buy a K&N Cone filter and attach it to the stock air hose. The Headers made from a GA should work with the venture, though I don't know about the Y-pipe. The headers use the exact same part numbers from GM. AFAIK, the 3.8 doesn't share any parts with the 3.4L, being that they are two totally different engine families. The 3.4 is a 60 degree V6, while the 3.8L is a 90 degree engine. There are a few websites around that are devoted to the 60 degree engine family, there is plenty of things to do.
