I have aTrans Sport -96 where the turn signal lever wonīt return to the center position after a turn.
Some time the Cruiser controll wont work...

I guess the Cruiser problem is an electric failure?
But what can be wrong with the signal turn lever?

And how can I remove the panel around the steering wheel axel?

My car has a air bag, so I donīt want it to "explode".
Can I remove the steering wheel with a minimun of work.
What is the smartest way to remove the steering wheel?
Do I need to remove the steering wheel at all?

If you send me your email address I can send you a copy with instructions of removal and installation of the turn signal switch.

I suggest you get a repair manual. GM factory manuals are outstanding, but Chiltonīs or Haynes is better than nothing.

According to the factory manual, cruise control problems could be mechanical, electrical or vacuum related. It is suggested to first do a visual check of the system to ensure there are no bare, broken or disconnected wires or any pinched, damages or disconnected vacuum hoses. After this is done, some components should be checked. If the system is still inoperative, a electrical diagnosis should be done. There are some thin wires going from the cruise control/turn signal switch. Check if any of them are almost broken.

What engine do your car have? If it is the 3.8, I might have an extra set of 1995 factory service manual (about 1500 pages!) for sale in a few weeks. If you have the EU version with the 3.8 from 1996, this is problaby the best manuals you can get. In US, the 1996 model only came with the 3.1 or the new 3.4 engine. If you have the 2.3 engine, you will have big problems to find a repair manual.

The manual set could be shipped with "bussgods" to Ume.
