Difference between GSR and other modelspawt 04-07-2002, 02:37 PM Is there any way to distinguish the GSR from other models...at a glance? There are a few Integras driving around my city, and I'm always thinking "Is that a GSR...?" Thanks... G_racer 04-07-2002, 09:37 PM I look for the dohc vtec sticker in the back or i look for the gsr rims. pawt 04-07-2002, 11:32 PM Well, the problem is this: I own a '99 GSR no DOHC/VTEC badges and with custom rims. Is there any other way to visually distinguish between the models? Thanks =) threethirteen 04-08-2002, 02:03 PM sunroof, leather, rear spoiler...so, kindof but not really..cos the gs comes with that too. drift 04-08-2002, 05:19 PM color matched side moulding. PiNoY GsR RaCeR 04-08-2002, 07:25 PM Are the newer model Integras like the '98+ such as a LS have a color matched side molding? pawt 04-08-2002, 11:20 PM So, in other words, the only real way to tell is if the car is completely unmodified? Considering the only difference between the GS and GSR seems to be the "DOHC VTEC" badge, it doesn't seem like it's very easy to tell... S2Corolla 04-08-2002, 11:42 PM Well for me, I can tell when they pass me in a race... lol :D Because only a GSR or Type R WILL pass me.... ;) The difference between a Type R and GSR other than the Type R badge is the moonroof. Type R doesn't have one.... 00GSR 04-09-2002, 12:06 AM Just take a look inside the car and see if it redlines at 6800, 8100, or 8400 RPM....... As far as the outside goes, the main things are the rims and Vtec badge. Although rims are frequently changed and I have seen Vtec badges on Mazdas  Some reading material on the model history http://www.team-integra.net/sections/articles/showArticle.asp?ArticleID=40 :smoker2: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
