:eek: VA Cops are cracking down on street racing using things like hellicopters and undercover agents. I always thought those highway signs were a joke "speed enforced by aircraft" until I saw the video on this link. Take a look and click on the video with the car pick.

well in jan we all got caught street racing. too bad one of our friends didnt tell us there was a helicopter there. they said my bf was the one who was racing (he wasnt we were watching) but they just slapped him with a wreckless general. good thing it got dismissed in court. no more street racin for us only on the track

here about 2 months ago or so, they arrested and impounded some cars down here in South Central Virginia because people were street racing in the Blue Ridge Parkway. the Feds were watching them for a few months and busted them and impounded i think about 10+ cars. some of the guys' cars that got impounded and were buddies of mine. i am glad i wasnt there becuase i have quit street racing. its not worth it getting your car impounded or even worse, going to jail for it.

i saw something about this on the news -- they like to use small aircraft also... seems so stupid. I heard its real easy to get out of - something like ask for the person that radared you to sign the ticket..

Don't know if they are really cracking down or not here in Richmond... Import street racing has definetly decreased over the last few years or so it seems.

personally if you street racing in va, especially nova, you're going to jail. Switch tags and run, that's what i do. I know it's wrong, but i'll take my chances.

damn why da hell does it have to be northern va? VA laws are so strict. Thats why imma move to GA. 4 real though, VA has the stupidest laws on cars. You can buy a gun without a waiting period but you must honk your horn when passing another driver. WTF

The laws are there for a reason. I don't agree with all of them, but they are there for a reason. This post was just about street racing. It's illegal, it's dangerous and stupid. But i'm not gonna complain if I one day get busted for my stupid acts.

there are a bunch of Z28's floating around that are VA state cops, ive seen them in action ! Also for those in the henrico county area I know there is a 92-95 white civic about a 3-4 inch drop id say..all tinted out with an exhaust and the works ...its state trooper that patrols this area, he got a buddy of mine !! I got hit with a racing ticket comming down broad st and believe me you dont want one in this town ! i lost my liscence for 6 months 500.00 in fines 2 driving schools and 75 hrs of community service !!! watch your back out there and remember always do the window down test !!

I live in fredericksburg,va and I know there is alot of idiot kids that wanna race their moms cars like the guys on tv..What the hell they r the ones that ruin it for the rest of us ..
