well the 4x4 engage light use to work fine as did the 4x4 untill the light keap getting stuck on and the 4x4 didnt engage at all.. then the transmission wouldnt shift pass 2nd without using very high revs. I had the transmission rebuilt and just got done putting it back in now the truck is locked in 4x4 (i think low) although the light do not come on on the dash. the truck still dosent shift even after the rebuild.. i was wondering what it could be..

4x4 fuse under hood looked ok. i was thinking maybee the shift motor went out and snice its in low ? maybee its not shifting.

alright i just thought i would let u all know that i went for it and tried the shift motor.. it turns out that was it. now it shift out of 4x4 low (which it was in) so i was thinking this could be why it wasnt shifting cus of being in low. well i went to take it for a test run but when i put it in gear in moved abou 3 feet then binded up.. now i put it in reverse and it went fine then forward again and still went find (short distance) then i stoped put it in park then drive and went to take off and binded again...

any ideals..??
