just doin some research and saw that the atkins engines for the tII all come with 3mm seals, plus the 2 yr warranty!list price is 2100/550 core charge. sounds like a great deal to me!

yeah atkins is great.

but the effectiveness of 3mm seals is HIGHLY debatable.

twas even posted on atkins site that a dragracer was running 52 lbs of boost on 2mm

i was talking to my builder yesterday (dropped off the engine). he told me that the 3mm seals wear down the housings faster.

i heard they dont seal as well, but are more reliable. if atkins and other building companies are now offering them with all engines, they must be ok, plus warranty is my key word!lol

I don't think 3mm seals are worth it, I haven't seen any proof of them being better than regular seals
