92 Camry - Power Window MTrachy 04-22-2005, 03:18 PM
Recently the regulator broke on the driver's door. I just put in a new regulator($140.00 from Toyota). The window goes down easily, however, it really struggles on the way up. In fact, it won't go up unless I physically give it some assistance. Could there be an alignment problem? Any ideas would be appreciated. Make sure both sides of the glass are in the track otherwise the window does not move smoothly. quincyguy 04-25-2005, 10:55 AM You could liberally spray the channels w. a hyper-slippery lube from the hardware or car shop. It worked for me. Recommend this annually for all windows, takes a load off the motors. Shalom Jim black label 04-27-2005, 12:26 AM Use silicone spray in the tracks. It will make the glass super slippery. Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
