Recently the regulator broke on the driver's door. I just put in a new regulator($140.00 from Toyota). The window goes down easily, however, it really struggles on the way up. In fact, it won't go up unless I physically give it some assistance. Could there be an alignment problem? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

My 93 Camry regulators (both sides) broke last year. I fixed one and bought one from Ebay for about $40 (new, after market). It works very well. Make sure both sides of the glass are in the track otherwise the window does not move smoothly.

You could liberally spray the channels w. a hyper-slippery lube from the hardware or car shop. It worked for me. Recommend this annually for all
windows, takes a load off the motors.

Use silicone spray in the tracks. It will make the glass super slippery.
