my 97 expedition is stuck in park. After visiting several web sites and picking up a few suggestions and since I have no brake lights, thinking it might be the brake light switch or possibly a fuse. How hard is it ti find the brake light switch? Any other ideas? . . . .

Never mind. Wire to brake light switch had come off. Spliced a new one, it's fixed!
