Mathenzo@af 07-10-2001, 03:19 PM Damn! This is pissing me off! I'm taking math 256 (differential Equations) over the summer, and it's killing me!!!!! I've always been great at math, and I know it shouldn't be as hard for me as it is, but I just suck at it right now. I think it might be the teacher, because all we do is come to class (he shows up late) and he does an example problem or two, without explaining anything, and then talks about what's coming up next, but never how to solve anything. AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! The fact that it might be the teacher sucks, because I have no control over it! DVSNCYNIKL 07-10-2001, 03:22 PM I feel you man. I took that course in college a while back. All theory and shit and never anything to use as an example to apply to other problems. I bet you he tells you to read x amount of pages and he'll cover them the next day? Wait till, if you go that far, Calculus 4. You're going to need a lot of stimulants!:D YogsVR4 07-10-2001, 05:12 PM Diffy screw? I hate to say it, but that was a great class. I really enjoyed differential equations (calculas in general). But, it probably helped that mathmatics was one of my majors. :D Moppie 07-10-2001, 11:32 PM Dont feel to bad, I failed the basic 101 math paper twice! :silly2: Hence the phillosophy degree, no mathamatcical (or spelling) skill required. :D :flamer: MATH :rocket: enzo@af 07-11-2001, 03:18 PM Calculus 4? Well, that's basically what this is. I already had 251/251 (differential and Integral) in High School and took them again here, and then I took 253 (Infinite Series) and now I'm in this. So, this is the fourth in the sequence for me. Lizard King 07-12-2001, 03:43 PM I gave up on math ages ago, it didn't agree with me. I've gone so long without using it that when I need a simple sum doing I have to ask my brother or someone. :D IanMalcolm 07-12-2001, 05:07 PM Tell them "Fuck off" and it "Disagrees with Chaos theory" so your wrong. I did that on a test, and ended up getting suspended for insubordination. Of course it was a Catholic school.. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
