Where do i add trans fluid in b16stopufool 04-21-2005, 07:01 PM hey real quick was gonna add some trans fluid and i wasn't 100% sure where to add it, think i got it, but i want to check. Posted a pic of where i think it goes stopufool 04-21-2005, 07:04 PM http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/uploads/170668/whereistrans.JPG that is the link to the pic Beyond Imagination 04-25-2005, 02:45 PM what you have in the picture is a transmission housing bolt. lift up your car and look under at the transmission housing. there are 2 bolts. 1 to drain and 1 to fill. let me try to find a pic to show you. wonword 04-25-2005, 02:50 PM On my car you use a half inch racthet without a socket to undo the transmission plug. In your picture, that is a bolt that connects the bellhousing to engine, not a good idea to take it off, if you did read the specs and torque it back in(prolly 22-36 lbs of torque). The fill plug will most likely be towards the front of the car on the side of the transmission, the plug on the bottom is the drain plug. Beyond Imagination 04-25-2005, 02:51 PM http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/acura/jsp/mws/catimgs/13ST70_M02.gif this image is small and confusing but i believe from this pic that #18 and #12 are the bolts. superbluecivicsi 04-25-2005, 11:07 PM or you can fill it through the vent shaft. #5. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
