I'm not sure, I only saw the commerical once, but I think it might actually be a GST from the size ofthe spoiler. I'm gonna watch it. Who knows, I may pick up some tips. After all, what DSM wouldn't be complete without 18" rims, expensive rubber, 5 TVs, XM radio/MP3 players, a desktop computer, a cheap body kit, a paint job (the one thing that I do like what they do with the cars) and lets not forget that 140hp engine! Lemme tell you, who doesn't want their car to look amazing, and of course that low speed is so that none of the piece of shit body kit breaks when you finally get the car to go above 40 mph.

The way I look at it, doin the outside of the car nice and doing the interior of the car nice come first. Solely because you still want those Civics to know EXACTLY which kind of car just stomped all over their ass even in a stock GS form. :grinno: Nah, really, I think that if you plan to go all the way with a car WITHOUT racing it (ie. the roads where you live are too shitty to race on without bottoming out the car) you clean up the engine, make the outside and interior of the car look nice, then you go to autoshows and use the money you make from that to invest in your engine.

It would be a 1 out of 100 chance that they will drop a 4g63 into that car if its a gs. It would be a 1 out of 1 that they will put nos into that car. lol IF it were a 4g63 i would watch, if not il prolly drive my car instead of watching it.

yeah im almost positive its not a turbo 99.9% sure its either a RS or GS. yeah i bet they will do some of the stupid shit to it that they do to cars. for example a TV screen so your dogs can "watch TV while they eat" (last weeks episode) or put a TV under the car so u can watch it while you work on you car (which they have done before) which also might not be a bad idea lol considering its a DSM lol seems like your always working on something.

yeah, a lot of people do shit to their cars that are for something other than performance, but i'd say that most of the regulars on this forum are primarily interested in performance rather than style. I'm sure there's plenty of people who are into it for the show car quality instead of the performance. (not that I'm one of them.)

I just think it would be a disgrace not to do SOME type of performance on the damn thing, especially if its a N/T. The car lacks in that area most of all, it already looks good. Why not improve the weakest part of the car, instead of wasting all that money on show mods, that in the end will look worse anyway. I know the car is "Pimp My Ride", but who says that for it to be pimp your restricted to appearance. In my mind, a pimp car has gotta have some balls too. Put a new coat of paint on it, redo some of the interior, and then performance all the way. Otherwise, stick to "pimping" cavaliers and ford rangers. Leave DSM's out.

So what if it has 140hp? I don't plan to ever take that car to a race track, Hell i don't plan to take any car to a race track ever. Not every one is into "Turbo's" and whatnot

I know that my DSM will never be fast unless I have the heavy cash flow so I just do my best to make it with what I have. Such as the gauges that I installed that I bought on ebay, they made me happy as HELL because the made the car better but not faster but I had the same sense of pride that everybody else has when a mission has been accomplished with a certain task. Having fun with your car at the end of each day makes it worth it, have fun but use common sense, drive safe and responsibly.

Yeah. I'm not trying to break records or anything but just trying to make my car quicker. yes i want a turbo. NO i dont want to boost 15 psi. I dont care if i have 180hp with a turbo. I just konw that a turbo would be a better profit over time that wet shots of nitrous for me. (Refill after refill) And its cooler. Its just a thought with mitsubishi's, its all performance.

Side note- for those who don't understand....the jerk of nitrous is cool but...the turbo whistle (spool) sound is more joyfull. I'm currently saving for a 89-94 gsx/tsi awd I'm not gonna fuck around and start trying to turbo my rs knowing that speed is addictive. More boost.....then CLANK..blown engine. My car is too beautiful mess up. It still looks better than most newer cars. It was designed before its time.

See but PMR does do some pretty cool things that really no one else is dumb enough to do. Aslong as you have fun doing whatever, may it be performace or looks, it shouldnt matter. When I put in my boost gauge and AF gauge, I was up until all hours of the night having fun. I personally dont like all that other showie stuff...sleeper is the way to go for me :). Next week ill be putting in an exhaust(not exactly sleeper but hey, it works) and I cant wait
