Stupid Question but I had no where else to turn?roach2k2 04-21-2005, 10:56 AM If i got a loan from the bank for a car, and i was payin the bank off for the loan, would i have toget full coverage till i finished paying the bank off? n8s95gsx 04-21-2005, 11:01 AM Yes, becasue with just liability, if you hit some one and destoyed your car, you would have to pay off a loan for a car that is totaled... and that blows.. trust me.. roach2k2 04-21-2005, 11:04 AM yes i know that but my insurance will be sky high for full coverage on a car so id rather go just liability. I just wanna know if i could do that? n8s95gsx 04-21-2005, 11:09 AM Most banks require it... just look around and see what you can dig up Gsx_hooptie 04-21-2005, 11:15 AM I think it would depend on credit and collateral, but I'm not sure. Scotsee knows a bit about this stuff, might want to try searching for some of his posts about this topic. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=387549&highlight=credit http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=237541&highlight=credit for startes. Then start searching. spyderturbo007 04-21-2005, 11:24 AM I have never seen or heard of a bank that didn't require full coverage on a vehicle that they "technically own". Most banks even stipulate a $500 deductable. riff22 04-21-2005, 11:27 AM you can get a personal loan, the intrest is higher but you can save with just the liability. roach2k2 04-21-2005, 11:46 AM will they give me a personal loan? LandoAWD 04-21-2005, 12:00 PM will they give me a personal loan? We are not your bank. Ask them. spyderturbo007 04-21-2005, 12:01 PM That's a question only the bank can answer for you. We have no idea what you have in the way of credit rating, debt/income ratio, income, rent, etc. You need to talk to the bank about that one. I really wouldn't recommend a personal loan for a vehicle. You will end up getting wacked for a much higher interest rate. The bank will only have your good word that you are going to pay back the load, instead of being able to repo the vehicle if you default. Also, you may end up paying the same in extra interest with a personal loan as you would paying for full coverage. Did you talk to the insurance company and find out how much more it is going to cost you? roach2k2 04-21-2005, 09:59 PM anyone wanna lend me 2,500 lol and ill repay you monthly vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
