No '03 Camaro to be produced TheMan5952 07-10-2001, 12:22 AM
Chevrolet has decided to Discontinue the camaro after the 2002 Model. Along with the Firebird, they both will not be seen after the 2002 Models. They plan on releasing the SSR which is like a F150 Lightning, but lower and eqipped with a Vortec 5.7 liter. vortec 07-12-2001, 07:25 PM they will still make you and me just won't be able to have it  http://vettechick.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=10&topic=3 SCREW991LE323 07-30-2001, 08:53 AM They have been saying that for 4 years now. 2002 is the last year the St. Terese Plant in Canada will be toolled for the f body. LiquidSmooth 07-27-2004, 12:57 AM . thought i'd bring the 2nd oldest post back up to the top to make everybody miserable!!! :) 5 Point 7 07-27-2004, 01:18 AM Your a dick... Jake KaotiKCamaro5 07-27-2004, 09:51 AM i heard they were gonna re-release the camaro in 2007.. and it better throw sparks cuz it's gonna be the 40th anniversary edition.. ridge_runner 07-27-2004, 12:16 PM dont bring back the camaro!!! i wanna keep my hotrod tags Chevyracincamaro 07-27-2004, 12:18 PM hotrod tags?? ridge_runner 07-27-2004, 12:20 PM yea....i cant get historic tags yet cause my car isnt 25 yrs old so i got hotrod tags. but in order to get those the car has to be atleast 20 to 24 yrs old and no longer be in production.. thus i have to get no inspections or nothing Chevyracincamaro 07-27-2004, 12:22 PM interesting, i didnt know such a thing existed. but sorry ridge, new camaro comes out in 07 and i graduate from college in 07, sounds like a perfect graduation present for me... ridge_runner 07-27-2004, 12:24 PM lol... bastard....j.k... i wonder if dmv will catch on and suspend my registration Pewter'01SS 07-27-2004, 12:46 PM Do most states have inspections? It seems that everyone I talk to has them. I never knew how serious they are about this stuff untill I went to see a friend in PA and found out what they can fail you for. I feel fortunate MI drivers don't have to endure this crap. Hell, I've had body parts fall off of my vehicles before while gong down the road (well, the tailgate of my old F150 fell off in a carwash, but close enough). LiquidSmooth 07-27-2004, 12:49 PM haha, good ole' mi, michigan right? i was just up the last weekend, i went to... st. joseph beach on lake, i'm from chicago so the water's a little dirty this side ridge_runner 07-27-2004, 12:53 PM haha.. here its a one time thing... you have to get it inspected and everything has to be good.. they check everything.... i had to buy one for my bronco cause it needed ball joints and still does.. lol... usually after people get it they go out and mod there cars..but it sucks cause when they go to sell them they wont pass... Pewter'01SS 07-27-2004, 12:59 PM Well, most of the water in the lakes around here is clean but some...uh...ISNT!! In PA, they have to get it inspected every year. My friends brother had to fix the door handle in the back of his ext. cab or he would have failed. Around hear, my friend drove his 80-something Toyota/Nova for a year without being able to open the drivers door without a coathanger. Pewter'01SS 07-27-2004, 01:00 PM And good ball joints are HIGHLY overrated. grease monkey girl 07-28-2004, 12:27 AM Arizona doesn't have inspection (with the exception of the super uptight city of Mesa where you can't smoke a cigarette in your own front yard). You should see some of the heapers on the road. But then again, a couple of my vehicles would never have passed a smog..... Savage Messiah 07-28-2004, 12:30 AM can this thread die? :/ grease monkey girl 07-28-2004, 12:31 AM nothing ever truly dies in this forum, haven't you noticed that? old threads keep popping up like weeds. Savage Messiah 07-28-2004, 12:54 AM mmm ridge_runner 07-28-2004, 12:58 AM aint it the truth.... grease monkey girl 07-28-2004, 01:00 AM when I saw the title of this thread, I was like, what the hell? Savage Messiah 07-28-2004, 01:01 AM yea its like, NO SHIT asshole... then you see that its from uh... 2 FREAKIN YEARS AGO lol ridge_runner 07-28-2004, 01:04 AM like i said... dont bring it back!!! wait til 2010 grease monkey girl 07-28-2004, 01:05 AM I thought the classic thing was if the car was 20 years old. damn, now I have to wait 8 years! ridge_runner 07-28-2004, 01:07 AM lol here its 25 for historic i love them.. i dont even have insurance on my bug yet and i have tags... lol grease monkey girl 07-28-2004, 01:08 AM see, thats what gets my dad off my back about selling it "but daddy, it's a CLASSIC!" ridge_runner 07-28-2004, 01:16 AM f*ck yea!!
