Dodge Neon 1999 hot temperaturepablo1999 04-19-2005, 06:28 AM I have a Dodge Neon 1999 with 92,000 miles. The car has the following problem: After driving my car for 10 minutes the temperature gauge indicates that the car is hot. I made sure the car has coolant and oil but this keeps happening. After 10 minutes, i turn off my car and I can hear the sound vapor coming out of the front of the car. I wonder if this has to do with the thermostat. Any inputs? Thanks. yogi_123rd 04-20-2005, 03:17 PM Is the radiator fan coming on when the temperature rises? Austin8214 04-20-2005, 06:12 PM Check and see if the upper hose on the raidator is getting hot. If it is not then you need to change the T-stat. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
