I saw my rarest car yesterday, a Ferrari 250 GTO. For those who dont know, only 39 were made and this guy was driving his. I could tell it was definatly not a show car, it wasnt it bad shape but not show quality. What about everyone else here?

Sure it wasn't a kit?

I've seen....hmmm...nothing special. A diablo Jota, Ferrari 355's.

Nothing that most everybody hasn't seen.

Some people actually have character and drive thier 250 GTO's. I would if I had one. I'd also make sure that it was in a bit better shape though. As for the rarest car, probably either the Silver 360 Modena or the Light Blue Bentley Azure.

The rarest car with real "wow" factor being driven was an F40, but the rarest cars I've seen on the road (not in a showroom) are probly: 2nd rarest, my friends '98 Integra Type-R, only 500 NA versions made in '98 spec, and 1st, a Bitter SC (parked not driving, but still on the road, and driven to that spot)

Actually, add a '99 ZX2 S/R to that list. They only made 110 S/R models in 99.

I saw one of the 200 1992 Vipers and one of the 500 (or so) Honda EV-Pluses. I saw one of the 50 1963 Chrysler Turbines (one of the 6 to still exist and one of two that run) and two of the 51 Tuckers. I saw one of the two Lincoln-Continental Mark II convertibles ever built and one of the six McLaren F1s imported to the US.

I drove both of the first generation Subaru Impreza WRXs (one was an STi) imported to the US by the factory. I drove one of the 50 (or so) GM Impacts produced.

There are six that are legal to drive on the road in the US.

I heard seven;

1. Guy in Texas
2. One at Newport Autosport
3. Ralph Lauren owns 2 in the US.
4. Leno?
5. One in Pennsylvania (SP)
6. ?
7. ?

Note: Some of these might travel around a fair bit but #1-3 I am definately sure exist at their locations.

I have seen one of the Corvette Grand Sports (five were built in 1963 all had 550hp and weighed 1900 lbs) being driven...it was only from a trailer to a showroom though.

There is a McLaren F1 for sale in one of my older DuPont Registries (not the Newport one). I'll check out the address later.

Also, while I was in Cali I saw a couple of those Honda EV-Pluses, a couple Rav4 EV's, and a couple of big wierd Nissan wagons at a rental place, probably electrics. Also, I'm really into Euro and Japanese home market vehicles so I was quite excited to see a blue R34 Skyline GT-R and a new red Alfa Romeo 156.

Nobody believes me, but I saw Bruce Willis driving what appeared to be a Brabus, the kind that looks like a mercades(sp.?) 150,000 USD car. It was on a back road in Arkansas. Anyone know if actually owns one? Brabus that is.

Sweet, I love those. If it had 4 circular taillights, it was a 512M, but more likely the (much better looking, IMO) 512TR, which is an update of the Testarossa.
