Exhaust w/supercharger

I know for most turbos its recomended you get at least 2.5 in piping for turbos. But what about superchargers? In particular the baseline JRSC kit. Right now with my HKS exhaust I only have 55 MM (2.2 in) pipes running, would it be a good idea to upgrade them to something a little bigger? Or should I just keep what I have right now? And also Im having a hard time finding any exhausts other than the Thermal Exhausts that come with anything bigger than 60 MM (2.4 In) pipes and that came off the Apex'i N1, am I just not looking hard enough or am I just looking in the wrong direction?

2.2 will be ok but yea if you want to 2.5 will help a bit

Thank you both, but will there be any noticeable difference say if I upgrade to the Apex'i N1 exhaust that has a 2.4 in piping? Might give me an excuse to get that exhaust again, I like my HKS one, but I had the Apex'i one on my FC and i loved the sound, but is it worth it just for the piping?

if you want the most gains, the jdm dc and kamikaze with a 2.5 collector, combined with a 2.5 hi flo or test pipe with a 2.5 exhaust is the way to go.

3 inches is still not necessary with the y pipe. i used the 2.5 on my turbo. sounds like a quiet humming bird suddenly roaring like a lion. its really loud. i can imagine the 3.
