JRSC question94DXSiR 04-15-2005, 03:12 PM I was just wondering something. On a civic with a JRSC on the engine, do they have their own intake that comes with the SC, or do you have to use your own one? And if you have to, how would it fit? I guess Ill ask this way. Say in my 94 DX w/B16A in it, and I have a AEM CIA intake in it. With that same intake, and with that supercharger, will that intake still fit or will they give me another one? If that makes any sence, just curious is all. kris 04-15-2005, 09:06 PM The supercharger has it's own intake manifold. Typically your old intake will fit as well. It me need to be trimmed a little, but that should be it. superbluecivicsi 04-16-2005, 03:11 AM will need to be trimmed a bit depending on which intake you use. its common sense. believe me, when you put it on, you will just know what to do. 94DXSiR 04-16-2005, 09:02 AM Ah thank you, thats all I wanted to know, well, now I guess the next problem I might run into. I have the right engine, but not the right car, does anyone know if with the swap I did theres going to be any issues witht he belts getting to the right places without something getting in the way? superbluecivicsi 04-16-2005, 12:21 PM there will be no problems with getting the blower or crank belt in. same as the others. 94civicvtecex 05-04-2005, 10:06 PM Dude, I got a JRSC on my 94 ex d16z6. I had to cut my normal short ram intake with a power tool. Just a an inch or two. It fit just fine actually. But, if you have a cai, which is a bit longer it'll be different, but I'm sure you can manage to do it. But, if you want to spend money Jackson Racing sells an aftermarket intake for their superchargers, b/c they know that the supercharger manifold causes a difference in the throttle body location. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
