h22a swapnyzfinest 04-14-2005, 08:29 PM iam thinking about putting a h22a swap with 5 spd trany into my 96 automatic integra. is it worth it to make it a five spd or should i get the h22a with an automatic tranny charlieteg 04-14-2005, 10:53 PM well what integra is it first? if its a ls do a gsr with a 5 speed swap, im not a fan of the h22 swap, just heard different thing honda_racing101 04-14-2005, 11:08 PM Convert to manual. Actually just avoid getting an H22 with the triptronic tranny...multiple problems have been had with it. Just buy an H22 with a 5 sp and you'll be fine. CivicSpoon 04-15-2005, 01:15 AM Yeah definently convert. I used to think of a car as just a source of transportation, but since I've had my 5-speed; driving has become fun again. charlieteg - you should read the H22a swap guide I typed up for the '92-'95 Civic forum; it should set the record straight for you. Lots of misconceptions about the swap. loco69boyz 04-18-2005, 01:06 PM Go with the H22a with 5 speed tranny. I did the swap with my 99 gsr and i run high 13's :grinno: . NDPNDT 04-23-2005, 07:35 PM i'm selling a built up N/A H22a1 right now actually. I am selling the whole car, 92 prelude, but would consider removing the engine, tranny, and everything else if it's worth it. send me an email at Courtemanche_Designs@hotmail.com if interested. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
