brake squeal

i bought some Hawk performance brake pads from Truck Performance Center in Irvine, CA....those guys over there suck by the way!!! and i get alot of brake squealing ...any you guys have any experience with these brake pads...comments,positive or negative? I got a 98 tahoe 4dr 4x4 wit 116000 miles on it ...any input would be great

I am hesitant to answer since I dont know anything about this "Hawk"co.However I can tell you one that wont make noise Wagner Thermoquiet! I've put on ALOT of these pads w/ ZERO complaints as of yet.

get some ac-delco or raybestos pads. most of those high performance/lifetime pads have lots of metal in them so they tend to squeak and destroy rotors

cool thanks for the input guys...oh and do me a favor and not buy anything from Truck Performance Center in Irvine, CA They suck!!! and spread the word ...they wont take back the pads i bought from them even if they are the wrong pads to begin with...i spoke to Hawk Performance and they told me that these pads are the wrong ones for my tahoe....with that i called back TPC and they said they wont take them back because of some stupid 14 day return policy... thats so weak so lets pass the word on and not deal with em
