My friend has a 2003 Acura RSX Supercharged, Intercooled Engine. Hes buying the new Honda Truck engine and putting that in his RSX. He said that i could have the V6 for free. Here's my question , do acura parts integrate with Honda, or should i just get the upgrades on my 1.5 L. Which is cheaper?

What are you talking about? A ridgeline uses a V6, if your friend does buy one he's a fool because he likely doesn't have anywhere near the fab skills required to put one in his RSX. Also, an RSX uses a 4-cylinder motor. If he doesn't even know that his RSX has a 4-banger and not a V6, what do you think the odds are of him having the skill to put a V6 in there?

Not to diss you or anything but his dad is a mechanic so he would help with the installation.

My daddy's a mechanic, he fixes small problems on cars all day. This clearly means he has the elaborate fabrication skills as well as the tools required to do such an overly elaborate engine swap. He could build an entire car with some JB weld and some scrap metal!

Just because he's a mechanic doesn't mean he can do a massively complicated project like that. This is never going to happen, if this kid was stupid enough to give away a motor that he could sell for 5-6 thousand dollars he would probably kill himself walking down a set of stairs.

I think that explains skill levels enough...
