Hello Everyone,

Yesterday, on my way back from lunch to work I came to a stop, and my Caravan began to idle really ruff for a second, like it wanted to stall, but it didn't. I gave it a little gas, and thought that it was puzzling. Got back to work, let it idle for a couple of minutes, and nothing happened. Then I turned off the van for an hour or so. I then came back and drove it around the block it was fine. When I drove home (about 10 miles form work), I came to a stop and it did it again. Now I am a little worried, that some thing major may be worng. I am going to have a more mechnicaly inclined friend look at it tomorrow, but I was hoping someone out there had some ideas what it could be.

It sounds like the car only needs a tune up. The 3.0L engine's idle gets fussy when its tuneup time.(spark plugs, distributer cap and rotor). I am also assuming the check engine/malfunction indicator light isn't on.

Yeah, it is a 3.0 and the check engine light is not on. Which I found puzzling. Well thanks for the help. I am going to get a tune up tomorrow, and I will let everyone know if that helped. Thank you again for all the insight, as I am lacking! :)
