front end feels loosetikitom 04-07-2005, 08:50 PM when i am driving and hit bumos in road, truck feels like something is loose at the front end, I was told it could be control arm bushings, any clues? 1994RangerMan 04-07-2005, 09:15 PM check your ball joints tikitom 04-08-2005, 07:17 PM are they expensive to replace? cougarman 04-08-2005, 10:15 PM Safety 1st .Yeah the ball joints can be expensive , but frt end parts are as important as your brakes. You should go and get a frt end inspection , Inspection with an estimate shouldn't cost very much. They will inspect and give an estimate for the repairs. Better to repair now, or have a sudden steering loss/ accident. With your truck getting older , it's a good idea to check it at least twice a year,or more if abnormal noises pop up-- a part that is good today could have play in it a month later. Good luck. tikitom 04-08-2005, 10:25 PM thank you, appreciate your honesty and advice... Tom 1994RangerMan 04-10-2005, 04:40 PM Jack the front end of your truck up and grab the top and bottom of our tire and see if you can shake/wiggle it. if the tire moves most likely your ball joints are bad vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
