I have a 94 Jetta that has enough oil, but for some reason my oil pressure light goes off at least three times a day. I replaced the sensor(well I think it was the sensor) about 7 months ago, and have even gotten my oil changed a couple of times to see if that was the problem. But the light continues to go off, and the only way to make it go away is by accelerating. Any suggestions? Is it as simple as replacing the oil pressure sensor, or is there some bigger problem?

There are two sensors, one on the cylinder head & one on the oil filter housing. They are different & you need to make sure you replaced with the correct switch.
