Does anybody know the sizes of the speakers in a 98 sebring lxi with the Infinity Sound system?

I just replaced my speakers on my 1998 Sebring JXI and the front and rear speakers were both 6x9s. The only problem is that you must make sure that the speaker DEPTH is no more than 2 7/8" deep, or else the speaker won't fit. I just purchased BLAUPUNKT PCX693 6x9 3-WAY speakers and they fit perfectly. If you are looking to replace the original Infinity speakers, take a look on ebay or look for Infinity speakers with a depth size of 2 7/8" or less. For those of you who are mathematically challenged, some 6x9 speakers come in a depth of 2 13/16" and this IS smaller than 2 7/8", so they would fit as well.

P.S. - If anyone has access to a 1998 Sebring radio(blue-green background lighting) that is compatible with the 6-CD changer, please email me at rwzuffi@hotmail.com. I have been searching for a after market radio that is compatible and so far I'm told that there is no adapter for the 98 Sebring 6-CD changer. I foudn a 97 radio that is compatible, but the background lighting is amber and it doesn't match the rest of the interiro lighting, which is the factory blue-green. Therefore I'm looking for a factory radio from 1998. Give me a holler is you have any info. Thanks.

Cool, just measure the speaker that you take out first. Like I said, I have a JXI, not an LXI. I imagine there isn't that huge of a difference, but check it out before you go buy something. That was my mistake.
