I'll try to make this short.
#1.While driving first my radio started turning on and off. (monday)
#2. Stopped and turned off the van then shortly after it would not start.
(almost like the Battery had been wore out.)
#3. Had to be jumped off and managed to get it home but nothing would wok in the van( air. etc)
#4. After a couple of hours it started up fine and everything worrked again until about 10 min into it. Same thing started happening.
#5. (Tuesday) Starts up fine then (picking up kids from school) the Radio just shuts off not being able to turn back on.Quickly get back home before it dies. By the time i got home the Air, all Windows, and all controls stop working. Shut off the van It will not start back up.
Here is the kicker. Battery checks out fine. But altenator didn't so we changed it but it still did the same thing. So if its not the altnenator than what. Some how it keeps charging itself up to run for a bit then stuff just keeps shutting down.HELP!!!!!!!

It sounds like a bad ground.
Could the battery cables have excessive build up of deposits on them. If so, clean them with a baking soda solution. A charging alternator should have enough juice to keep a car running normal. You can also verify that the alternator is working by putting a voltmeter across the battery and start the car. Should be about 14.5 volts charging.
