I have a 96' LHS with the Infinity system in it and I plan on putting in a reciever, someone told me that very few stock external amps work with aftermarket head units. i need to install one so i can get some RCAs going for my other amp's (subwoofer amp) signal. Does anyone know anything about this? Is there an adapter or special device to hook this up w/ the stock amp?

I was told the same thing by a Car Stereo shop, the Infinity Amplifier will work just fine. Just hook the radio's speaker wiring up like normal using a Harness kit designed for the factory speaker wiring and plug it in, then wire your other amp for the sub's with the radio's RCA outs like normal. I have a 45 watt x 4 Pioneer exact-fit head unit in my 94 LHS that also was used in a 95 Concorde and both have the Infinity System installed. Plays just fine through the stock amp and speakers. Just make sure that you hook up the Radio's Power Antenna lead (The blue wire) to the harness kit too (there will be a lead for it) or the stock amp will not turn on when you turn on the radio (Just like the remote lead for your Sub Amp).
