What could I get for my Sportlines?00GSR 04-01-2002, 09:00 PM I am thinking about going to coilovers, but if I do, how much could I get for my Eibach Sportlines which I have had on less than a year (About 10 months now)? I have never delt w/ used parts so I don't know the resale value parts have...Any ideas  90CRXZCSi 04-01-2002, 09:08 PM probably about 3/4 the price you paid for them.(just an example: originally $100, sell for $75) petzride 04-02-2002, 01:10 AM Do u have a pic of ur car? I just wanna see if the drop is ok for me..... Thanks... 00GSR 04-02-2002, 02:39 PM Originally posted by petzride Do u have a pic of ur car? I just wanna see if the drop is ok for me..... Thanks... Nope, no pics. But even if I got some they would be misleading because I also have Koni Sports (Yellows) set on the lowest perch. So, that adds another 25mm up front and 15mm in the rear (basically 1 inch and 1/2 an inch). Someone put up a pic gallery of their car which had sportlines...let me see if I can find it. Thanks for the link anyway~~ So one more question about ur sportline, does ur front not low enough(rear lower than front)? Are u sure u wanna go for coilover? After experienced skunk2 coilover, I will never wanna see those things again.. 00GSR 04-03-2002, 01:29 AM Originally posted by petzride Well, those pic are not really show off the drop. Just finding out my options  Right now I have the Sportlines on my car along with the Koni Sports. So, I have something around a 2.7" drop in the front (1.75"+0.98") and about a 2.3" drop in the rear (1.75"+0.59"). It is not that bad right now, I scrape a little, but I am about to put on a lip and some sides so I will be hitting everything! Now, I can raise the perch levels on the Koni's back up to a 0" drop (So only will be dropped the 1.75" from Eibach) but since I am riding on my stock 15" rims, I don't know what it will look like, and I don't want the tire gap again. Also, when I get some 17" rims for cruising I don't want a large gap then either. I kind of want to be able to set my ride height to an acceptable level dependent on the size rims I am using at the time and also to be able to set it to a good height for the track. I don't know. I am most likely going to set the Koni’s back up, put the body work on and take it from there. But we will see.... As far as front higher than back, I don't have that problem. My front is exactly 10mm lower than the rear due to the 25mm-15mm Koni lowering. Sorry I can't help w/ the pics. Maybe someone reading this has some side pics of a G3 teg w/ Sportlines alone.... 90CRXZCSi 04-03-2002, 11:11 AM hey 00GSR, do the 2.7" and the 2.3" make your tires almost tuck under the wheelwell? I mean it as in finger gap...is there any?? Im trying to decide on a good ride height and also to where my tires wont camber in that bad. Thanks. 00GSR 04-03-2002, 01:19 PM Originally posted by 90CRXZCSi hey 00GSR, do the 2.7" and the 2.3" make your tires almost tuck under the wheelwell? I mean it as in finger gap...is there any?? To fit a finger in the rear space, you need your finger to be at about a 45 degree angle (So it just about tucks). For the front, your finger needs to be damn near vertical, if it even fits at all (The top of the tire tucks)...this is w/ the stock 15's and 195/55-15 tires.. 90CRXZCSi 04-03-2002, 01:38 PM Right on. Thanks for your help. i was just looking to see what kinda drop i wanna do with my coilovers on my GSR. Thanks again. ludicrs 04-10-2002, 01:43 PM raise the koni's back to the setting they come on and it will look good and the kit will fit. your still prob going to scrape some anyway. if you just want the coilovers then expect to get about $100 for the used springs. '00TypeR 04-11-2002, 04:29 AM anybody interested in Type R stock suspension with Skunk2 coilovers or if you don't want the skunk2's i have my stock springs as well. if interested email me at mstruvdisaster@yahoo.com. i got some TEIN ha's right now and my stock suspension is just chilling in the garage. you just need to buy the lower control arms for dc2 and eg chassis. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
