buying a 1988 LS, advice?seancornelis 04-01-2002, 07:56 PM So as I'm filling up my dad's van at the gas station today I notice an '88 Integra LS 2 door...go over to look at it and it's the guy at the station selling it. Not a bad looking car, dings here and there (it comes from Brooklyn), 170k miles, 5-speed, power sunroof, blahlbah. The A/C doesn't work and it needs a muffler, there also appears to be a minor head gasket leak. He wants $950 for it, is that a fair price? Felt REAL solid when I drove it, much quicker than I expected, no squeeks or rattles, drove straight, brakes felt perfect, etc. Anyone know how much it'll cost to do the A/C? I'm anticipating a very hot summer, so I'll need it. 90CRXZCSi 04-01-2002, 08:51 PM I guess $950 seems ok for that. The A/C is going to run alot....maybe $400-500 to get it to work. Good luck on it if you buy it.;) blackbob 04-08-2002, 11:12 PM Not to sound anit-rice but you could always pick up a decent running camaro for the same price............:) Quetzolcotl 04-14-2002, 02:19 AM yeah, go domestic. you can run 8's on welfare with a blower and a crate engine. blackbob 04-14-2002, 06:40 PM Yeah Like he says dude for the amount of money you end up putting in that rice rocket you can do the same with a domestic and rape big time. But it's up to you:D   :bandit: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
