I have a "92 geo tracker 1.6l engine . my problem is when iin idle mode after warm up my idle goes up and down. I done a complete tune up. i put a new O2 sensor, egr valve, coolant control sensor, distributor cap and rotor, and injecter. The idle still goes up and down. I'm lost.
any help/suggestions would be greatly welcome. Thanks in advance.

i would check out your IAC valve.. could be just carbon buildup or could be on its way out...

Hate to sound stupid--but what does IAC stand for and where is it located? Is it difficult to remove to check out? Thanks in advance, Dave

PS.. I only asked what it stands for as I did an autozone.com search to see how much a new one would cost and I cant seem to find it listed.

Thanks, DG
