Also, are you the original owner? If not the previous owner could have used crap oil and you need to flush the motor on the next oil change. It comes in a one liter jug. Just follow the instructions on it. Your temp gage does seem to be a little high. These vans run a little below half as a rule. Could be nothing, but check your rad out and coolant level.
