Turn signals not working.
Brake lights work.

Which turn signals? Front, rear, right, left or all?

Found problem...
turn signal switch assmbly. The hazard flashers and the turn signals would not work all the way around. fuses were good.
I hit the stearing column really hard and the flashers started working (and turn signals). wiggled the (hazard) button and they stopped. the fix was removing the turn signal switch taking it apart and cleaning the contacts to remove the (crud!!!!) and putting some die electric grease on the fresh contact to try to slow down the (crud factor)....

This is probably the answer to my turn signals sometimes not working, intermittently, the dash light flashes, but the lights don't, at least not the front, haven't had a chance to check the rear while it's happening.

How do you get at the switch assy.?
