I just have a quick question. Ive been reading up on the Edelbrock Turbo kit and was wondering something. In my 94 DX coupe w/ a B16A engine in it. Has anyone put that turbo kit in the same year car and come into any problems with getting it in without modification?

And please, Im not looking to hear what turbos better or why not do this and that, its a simple yes or no question.

Thank you.

it will work but the stock hood has to come off because they don't clear. my 94dx coupe runs 14.53 @ 98.23 mph. I do not know if your DX is faster or slower than mine but a T3 turbo will blow my turbo and your turbo out of the water.

Anways that question still remains, you know, Edelbrock Turbo kit in a 94 DX coupe w/ a B16A will it fit?

Well, on the site the kit is made for the 99-00 Si Civic, but I basically have the same engine but in a 94 body, guess I should have mentioned that earlier.

piping may be a little different. something cutting and welding can easily take care of.

also the engine management will be different because its for obd2, not obd1. unless you want to convert to obd2. maybe you should look for another kit that doesnt come with any kind of ecu and just get a hondata

Thats just the answer I was looking for, thank you very much, I forgot about that OBD 2 thing since I have a OBD1, thanks for the reminder.

When did Edelbrock start making kits for the Si's?

http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/sport_compact/turbo.html

It says it right there under the Street Legal Turbo Kits list, part #1501 if I remembered right. Thats what I was baseing my info from.
