I was with some buds yesterday, heading to this place in Ctown to get some drinks, and just in front of me on the highway is a blue WRX. I come up behind it, and he gets onto the main road a little quick, and my buds tell me to chase, see if he wants to play. I drop into steptronic, and chase it down to the next light. At the light, he just looks at me, and its obvious that we were gonna go. Light goes green, and we both punch it.

Obviously, he takes me off the line, and basically holds me back at about two/two and half car lengths the entire time. He lets off, and I catch up, and as soon as I'm next to him, we both punch it, and this time I hold with him for about a second or so, before he starts to walk away up to another two lengths. We end up at a light, but he's turnin, so thumbs up all around, with my friends laughing it up (they dont normally race, one owns a F-250, the other a Saturn).

Now heres the thing...an WRX is what, a mid/low 14 sec car? And he only took me by about two lengths, and I had two passengers? I'm thinking it was an auto, or just a 2.5RS with WRX badging and an exhaust. Regardless, still a fun run, and a decent death to a WRX (if it really was).

sounds like fun, those beamers are purdy quick...prolly an auto wrx or a manual 2.5rs, mayb with out ur friends u wouldve stood a better chance

good death, ive tried to run with the wrx's but normally they just toy with me ( i know i wont win...but...theres always the chance they can miss a shift) ^.^

a wrx is like a low 14 sec car, i'm not sure how fast your 325 is. My best friend just got a wrx :uhoh: hope i'll be fast enough after my swap...

Well you raced him from a roll the second time, which really isn't an AWD cars forte. Eventhough WRX's are mid to low 14 sec. cars, they don't usually trap over 97 mph. You probably raced a manual one that was stock. I really like the regular WRX. Maybe I can trick someone into taking my WS6 for their WRX, that way I could save on gas :p

i think the "white comet" can hang with a wrx if not kill, depends on the driver :smokin:
