#4 coil location on 98 expeditionmacscobra 04-02-2005, 01:49 PM where is the #4 coil on a 98 expedition eddie bauer 5.4L i think it is going bad. does the pistons go from the passenger side 1234 then 5678 on the drivers side???? also i checked all the ohms on the coils and they all read good. It has rough idle and rough excelleration. the check engine light flickers when u hammer down on the excellerator. i put a snap on scanner to it it is said it was fine. no codes no nothing. my father and the mechanic that works at my job couldnt figure it out. please help me. this is my wifes car that she uses to bring the kids to school.
