Hey all,

I wanna paint the majority of the hard plastic interior parts in my 280zx black, but I don't know if I need to use primer on them or not...

The guy at the hardware store where I bought the spray paint told me to try this liquid deglosser stuff... it takes paint off, and seems to roughen up the plastic a bit...

After I paint the parts and let them dry, the paint chips off fairly easily. Is this because I am only putting one coat on?

Thanks in advance,

-Grendel

If there is a glossy finish on the plastics then it will chip off easy. Try lightly sanding the peices first, kinda like how you would sand a car.
