I have a tdo4 with an external wastegate with an internal turbo and it ran really well. I was very surprised. Greenblurr93 04-03-2005, 12:53 PM LOL!!!! his wastegate has an internal turbo.....:loser: civickiller 04-03-2005, 01:32 PM i noticed he always says my car, not my moms car. hmm makes you kinda wonder huh because he claims to have a chevy 2. i know if i was talking about my moms car, i would say my moms cars, not my car. BoostdRex 04-04-2005, 02:12 AM Uggh! Loser! cody_vg 04-21-2005, 01:37 PM so i would have to buy an external wastegate of course, and most likely mount it on the top of the exhaust manifold. and also make a down pipe right got it. but what about the internal gate on the turbo would i unbolt the diaphram and linkage or what? superbluecivicsi 04-21-2005, 05:40 PM LOL!!!! his wastegate has an internal turbo.....:loser:  Greenblurr93 04-21-2005, 07:10 PM yes, take everything that had to do with the internal wastegate out and weld a plate coverng the hole. and there should be a spot for an external wastegate on your turbo manifold. cody_vg 04-22-2005, 02:08 AM thanks.. for the external gate ill have to cut and weld it on the manifold cuz it doesnt have a spot for it.. Greenblurr93 04-22-2005, 08:29 AM what type of turbo manifold do you have? cody_vg 04-22-2005, 03:25 PM greddy. Greenblurr93 04-22-2005, 04:13 PM im surprised it didnt come with a pre welded flange... but anyways... yes you need to weld a flange on for the wastegate. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
