Is there anything special you must do when changing brake pads with ABS? I didnt see anything in the Haynes manual about it, but I've heard some horror stories about screwing up the ABS computer when pushing the fluid back. Also, are the caliper mounting bolts right-hand threaded?
Thanks in advance.

It's just like changing the pads on a non-ABS system. The bolts are threaded like just about every other bolt on the car.

I usually open the bleeders and push piston back. Make sure you close the bleeder before you take pressure off piston. Then top off fluid.

Thanks, all went well doing the "pad slap". I didnt open the bleeders as was advised, only because I wasnt too sure how to do that and didnt want to screw it all up. Everything working great after two weeks. Thanks again.
