If you don't have a non-interference engine and the timing belt snaps you will be rebuilding the valve-train. Timing belts aren't supposed to go much past 65,000 - 75,000 miles. I would get it changed ASAP. pre98zetec 04-01-2005, 11:23 AM :eek7: You're a brave man. If you don't have a non-interference engine and the timing belt snaps you will be rebuilding the valve-train. Theres zetec contour's who've lasted 150+k on a stock timing belt. Mine still looks brand new. But I am gettin it done in a couple weeks. tr0ike 04-01-2005, 04:07 PM Just about to hit 78,000 on my 8v 2.0L ... I anticipate having put 15K on it myself when I get to the 2-year mark in a few months. I need the car to last, the ABA is notoriously reliable though, so hopefully I'll get another 30-70K without problems :) That way I can spend $$ on mods not repairs ;) IceIceBaby 04-01-2005, 04:26 PM 120,000 Miles Chroming my windshield real soon it's going to be so sweeeet............. so I can't see TheStang00 04-01-2005, 05:24 PM i drive way to much... 68k on my 2000 mustang, i put 10k on it since august... drftk1d 04-01-2005, 10:06 PM just turned up to 123,000 miles today.
