i have a 1995 maxima SE fully loaded with all features and options with 233,000 miles on it~! its in great shape but i was wondering if i should keep it and drive it til it DIES or get rid of it the sooner the better. book value is around $3500+ but no body is gonna wanna pay that much for a car with that much mileage. so should i drive it or sell it? there are no problems with it. how much do you guys think i can sell it for? if anyone wants to email me directly for GOOD ADVICE email me : drivefastnyc@myway.com

I'd drive it. If it's gone that far without major problems, it will likely last even longer, with proper maintenance. You're right, probably no one will buy it with that kind of mileage on it.

Of course, put aside a car payment each month, so when it does go, you'll be well ahead of the game for the down payment, and have a lot less to finance.

Agreed, start saving for something new, but drive until it dies. It's a good car, and if it isn't giving you any problems, keep it.

Don't sell it, drive it until you want a new car, then donate it for a charity auction, then you can write it off for a tax credit. That way u are better off rather than just selling it dirt cheap.
